Meet Your Photographer
Hey, I’m Kirstie!
pronounced Ker-s-tee
she / her
I’m a fine art photographer based in Hamilton, Ontario.
I believe the best photography lives somewhere between
a moment and a painting.
My work is rooted in the quiet and the real. The way light transforms a subject.
The small details that say everything. The beauty that only stillness can reveal.
Whether I'm photographing your brand, your family,
your love story, or a season of personal becoming -my approach is always the same.
Intuitive.
Intentional.
Unhurried.
I create a safe space for moments to unfold naturally,
shaping them with a painterly, tonal sensibility —
drawn from a deep love of nature and
the light and depth of Renaissance paintings.
Turning the fleeting into works of art.
The ordinary into something unforgettable.
This is imagery for the things that matter.
The Art of Being Seen
You’re here because something in your life — or your work —
is worth more than an ordinary photograph.
Maybe you're building a brand that deserves to be felt, not just seen.
Maybe you're holding a season of life so tender you don't want to forget a single detail.
Maybe you've created something beautiful and the world needs to know it exists.
Whatever brought you here — you already know
that imagery has the power to move people.
You don't want just documentation.
YOU WANT ART.
You want the light, the details, the quiet essence of who you are or what you've built —
preserved with intention and elevated into something that’s lasting.
Session Types
for those who are in a season of transformation
for the tender, everyday moments of care that deserve to be seen
for the connections that shape you, in all their warmth & honesty
for artists and makers who want imagery that feels intentional

Tell me a little about yourself and the session you have in mind — the more details you share, the better. This helps me understand your vision from the start.
-
Based on what you share, I'll either send over a pricing and information guide tailored to your session type, follow up with a few questions, or invite you to schedule a call — whatever makes the most sense from there.
For Brand sessions, I'll send over a questionnaire and schedule a Zoom chat so I can gather all the details needed to put together a custom quote for you. And honestly, I love putting a face to a name — if you'd like to jump on a call or even grab a coffee, I'm always open to it. No pressure, no agenda, just a chance to connect, get to know each other, and for me to answer any questions you have. -
Once you're ready, approve your quote and we'll lock in your date, time, and a backup date. A 50% deposit and signed contract are required to secure your spot.
Backup dates are included incase the weather becomes extremely unfavourable for the type of session we have planned. -
This is where the fun begins!
Lifestyle clients receive a clothing and session prep guide.
Brand clients receive a custom style guide, vision board and shot list.
I'm always an email or call away throughout this stage — as much or as little as you need. -
We'll keep an eye on the weather leading up to your session — sometimes a little fog or soft light rain creates the most magical images. If conditions are truly unfavourable and don't match the vibe of what we have planned, we'll decide together whether to reschedule.
I take care of all the logistics so you can simply show up and be present.
Come with an open mind and relaxed expectations — my sessions are intuitive, intentional, and unhurried. We're here to create something real, not chase perfection. For brand shoots, our shot list keeps us grounded while we follow the natural flow of the day.

As soon as I get home I back up all your files across at least three devices, then carefully cull and select the images that best carry your story. Every image is hand-edited by me — no 1 click presets, no AI programs. You'll receive a mix of colour and black and white, edited for mood, feeling, and meaning.
My editing style is soulful and painterly, and shifts naturally as the light and energy of your session shifts. You may notice artful cropping, motion blur, grain, or soft focus — each chosen intentionally as part of my artistic vision. -
Within 3–5 weeks, you'll receive a link to your private online gallery. From there you'll select your favourites and download your high and low resolution files. I recommend storing your images in a cloud backup as well as on an external hard drive.
-
Selected images are soft proofed and colour adjusted for printing through a Canadian-owned lab I trust. If you've ordered an album or book, I'll curate your images into a beautiful, natural layout — you can approve a proof or trust my vision for a surprise when it arrives. Products take approximately 3–5 weeks after ordering. I personally inspect everything before it reaches you. Pickup is available in Hamilton or I can ship directly to you (shipping costs apply).
-
Our time together may be wrapping up, but I love staying connected. I may ask you to fill out a short survey or leave a Google review — and I genuinely love seeing your prints hung in your home. If you opt into my mailing list, you'll hear from me a couple of times a year. And once a year, you'll receive some snail mail.
